Liesbeth Noordegraaf-Eelens

Liesbeth Noordegraaf-Eelens is a full professor on ‘Transformative Academic Education’ at Erasmus School of Philosophy (EUR) and she has the professorship ’Transdisciplinary Education Innovation’ (Codarts). She is founding and Academic Board Member of the Academic Board of RASL.
Currently, she focuses on the future of RASL. Within her research, she focuses on the interaction between students and society in education and on the transformative character of education. She is developing societal relevant transdisciplinary education and research, within RASL, Codarts, and the Erasmus School of Philosophy.
She has a background in economics and philosophy and published books like “De overspelige bankier” en “Op naar de volgende crisis”. Her PhD “Contested Communication” was an interdisciplinary research on the communication of Central Bank Presidents in times of crisis.
In the context of RASL she received a Comenius Leader fellowship and an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership. She is the chair of the Female Academics Movement (FAME) at EUR. Since January 2016 Liesbeth Noordegraaf-Eelens is a member of the Council for Health and Society.
She is married and has four children.
