Nina van der Heijden (she/her) started working at Codarts Rotterdam in 2021. She was first employed as an Educational Support Officer for the Master of Music and soon started to focus on educational processes and student cases. As of August 2023, she is the Dual Degree coordinator of Codarts. In addition to this, she focuses on coordinating the Minor-programs in the Music department and on the coordination of the Study Coaches. Next to her work at Codarts, she spends her time reading lots of books, researching new books, and attending book events. You could say she is a real bibliophile.
Why do you work for RASL?
While I have a background in International Business Administration and feel like I wouldn’t be the same person without my deep interest in academics, I also always have had a passion for all things creative. I love to create my own art, both in written and visual format, and love to attend dance performances. I think it is great that our Dual Degree program allows students to combine academic and creative pursuits. Through this program, we help students gain a transdisciplinary view of the world that surrounds us all. I truly believe these students will be able to make the world a better place, and I am honored to make a contribution to this.
