Dina Nemirovsky (she/her) joined the RASL Coordinator workgroup in 2025, following her work at Codarts as a researcher. With a background in Arts and Culture Studies (IBACS) at Erasmus University Rotterdam, she is passionate about bridging critical perspectives on the arts with the realities of the creative sector, with a particular focus on music. Alongside her role as Codarts’ RASL Programme Coordinator, she works as a project leader within the Conservatory’s Pop and Jazz departments. Outside of Codarts, she sings in an international choir, contributes to research-driven projects, and enjoys coming up with new recipes.
Why do you work for RASL?
Having completed part of my Bachelor studies at Willem de Kooning Academie in Graphic Design, continued with Arts and Culture Studies (IBACS) Erasmus University Rotterdam and later conducted research at Codarts, I sometimes feel I’ve had an unofficial RASL experience myself! Stepping into this role therefore felt like a natural progression. I’ve always been interested in connecting theory and practice within the cultural sector, and RASL is a program where that relationship remains central. I strongly believe that transdisciplinary education will only become more essential in the future, so contributing to what I see as a pioneering program feels both meaningful and genuinely exciting.
